Family Powersports is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Manager to lead our growing parts department at our Austin location. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented individual to play a key role in the success of our dealership. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and merchandising. 
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and distributors to ensure timely parts availability and competitive pricing. 
  • Manage and train parts counter staff, providing excellent customer service and ensuring parts knowledge. 
  • Analyze sales data and trends to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. 
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Process warranty claims and returns according to manufacturer guidelines. 
  • Contribute to the dealership’s overall profitability by meeting sales and cost control targets. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a powersports parts department, preferably in a leadership role. 
  • Proven track record of success in inventory management, purchasing, and cost control. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. 
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in parts department software. 
  • Deep understanding of powersports vehicles and parts. 
  • Passion for the powersports industry and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

We are seeking highly motivated, results-driven sales pros for new and used vehicles.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represents the company for the sale of vehicles to customers.
  • Must keep current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all vehicles potentially sellable by the company.
  • Keep abreast of competitive activity, companies, and competitive products.
  • Keep current on trends in our industry that will affect what our customers will buy today and in the future.
  • Maintain an accurate traffic log entered into the traffic log system.
  • Conduct field demonstrations of products.
  • Maintain in good, usable, and current condition (electronic and/or paper) all manuals, price lists, and other documents provided by the company.
  • Accurately complete all documents related to sales transactions.
  • Have a good knowledge of used vehicle values and be able to assist management in evaluating properly for trade in purposes.
  • Work in conjunction and cooperation with Sales Manager on all activities.

Parts And Accessory Specialist

Service Advisor

Summary:

Do you love the world of powersports and possess a strong desire to grow? We are seeking a Service Advisor to provide the outrageous customer service our customer base deserves. Service Advisors must have the ability to deal with managing the daily operations of our service department while maintaining a high level of customer service and communication. This position will require communicating with customers both over the phone and face to face in the dealership.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter appointment info on repair order and in Lightspeed.
  • Follow up on scheduled work.
  • Perform follow up with technicians to determine job status.
  • Communicate with service writers and/or managers the need for additional repairs, parts needed not in stock, repairs completed, and additional time needed for repairs in a timely manner to ensure prompt customer notification.
  • Close out labor on completed work.
  • Update acronyms and status notes in Lightspeed.
  • File repairs orders in an appropriate location for service writers and/or managers to follow up.
  • Stamp manufacturer’s warranty repair orders for appropriate filing and warranty parts sign off by managers.
  • Place confirmation calls to customer’s verifying appointments two days ahead of schedule to allow them time to make arrangements.
  • Interact with other store departments to provide priority service and facilitate sales.
  • Assist in scheduling technicians as needed or directed by the service manager.
  • Maintain a secure filing system for customer repair orders and documents.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership.
  • Abide by and enforce company, store, and departmental policies.
